Greater Lansing Potters' Guild has been operating as a non-profit,
member-run, educational cooperative dedicated to the art of ceramics
since 1969. Student classes, community
outreach programs and semi-annual sales
are important parts of the Guild’s agenda. The guild facility
is a working studio in Haslett, Michigan, with spacious work areas,
a variety of kilns to provide a full range of creative possibilities,
and a meeting room with an extensive library.
a video made by the State News during a visit to the Potters
- The Greater Lansing Potters' Guild is delighted to once again
be a participant in the 21st Greater Lansing Be a Tourist
In Your Own Town event on Saturday, May 30, 2015.
The Potters' Guild will
be open to the public to tour our studios and see our potters demonstrate
wheel throwing, handbuilding and glazing. Visitors will receive
a small packet of clay to take home.
We will have punch and
lots of home made cookies.
This is the ONLY day
the Guild is open to the public and we would love to have you join
us. A "Passport" is not required; we are not a passport
stamping station. However, we do urge you to purchase a passport
for $1 and see as many of the 90 plus events as you can squeeze
into a day!
The Guild is located
at 8099 Coleman Road, Haslett, 48840. For a printer friendly copy
