| Can
I buy pots at the Potters’ Guild?
The Potters'
Guild does not have a store on site. Twice a year, the Guild offers
pots of its members for sale. Sales are held at All Saints Episcopal
Church in East Lansing. See the Sales page
for more information.
When
is the next sale?
Guild
sales are held twice each year: the week before Mother's Day and
two weeks prior to Thanksgiving. See the Sales
page for more information.
Can
I enroll my child in a class at the Potters’ Guild?
We're
sorry, but classes are for adults only.
Can
I rent studio space at the Guild, or pay to fire my pots there?
No, the Guild facilities are for use only by members,
visiting potters and during specified times, by students.
How
do I join the Potters' Guild?
Guild membership is by invitation. Generally speaking new members
have successfully completed the visiting potter program and are
fully competent in pottery design, technical and production skills.
Currently facility and space limitations restrict the number of
new-member invitations.
