I
am a founding member of the GLPG. I remained a member while I
earned a BFA in Ceramics and an MFA in Sculpture from MSU. I did
additional work at Eastern Michigan Univ., University of Illinois,
Penland and the Art Institute of Chicago at Oxbow. I have been
an instructor at the GLPG since 1992. My current work includes
both sculptural forms and functional pieces. I work in stoneware
and porcelain using multiple glazes and brushwork to finish the
pieces. Much of my recent work has been glaze fired in the soda/salt
kiln, which adds additional dimension to the surfaces. |
