Margie Steinkamp

I first developed my passion for clay as a student at the Potters' Guild, then became a visiting potter, and finally a member in 2004. I enjoy creating simple, elegant forms and functional pieces, as well as experimenting with beautiful glaze combinations and textures. I especially love the subtle effect of overlapping glazes when they are applied by spraying. The more I work as a potter, the more I continue to be amazed by the beauty that can result from a simple lump of clay.
